Chell has been working in the studio for over a decade. Inspired by greats such as RAP-A-LOT, Suave House, A Tribe Called Quest, 8Ball & MJG, Tupac, and Hypnotize Minds, this Blackhaven native first grasped his passion for rap in 1993. In early 1996, Chell and his best friend, Indawin, formed the group known as Buddinski. Buddinski executed two albums with Real Rap Records, "Memphis 2000" and "Memphis 2002". Buddinski ventured out to do solo projects resulting in "Cruise Music" and "Blackhaven U.S.A."
