well this is what my mother wrote about me on the occasion of my first birthday:
"Right now his favorite things are emptying the drawers in the dressers and the cabinets in the kitchen. He loves putting things in other things. He says Da, Ba, and sticks out his tongue. Patty-Cake and Bye-Bye are favorites, but he accompanies each one with a chorus of Da, Da."
I find it very difficult to be in a room with an acoustic guitar without playing it.
As of now, spring 2008, I am beginning to work on some kind of batch of songs that I will make available for your possession as soon as such things are appropriate. There are a few things to be done along the way, such as:
1. find a good hardwood floor
2. find the right shoe for pounding the hell out of this floor
3. build a mysterious little box with slightly magical powers that you will see someday if you either know me and/or like my music and come out to see me play
4. spend some quality time in southern vermont where I know a lot of talented people that will contribute to my album in exchange for my residential cleaning services
5. take good care of the tubes that I rely on for sounds
6. take good care of my grandfather’s guitar, which kicks fuckin ass
7. spend many an hour looking at little waves of dots that are blue and yellow and red and sometimes a dark purple

thanks for checking out the songs. if you like them, all i can ask is that you check back in over the next few weeks for info on the album or EP or whatever it becomes.
if, upon hearing the tunes that are up now, you are suddenly blindsided by adoration and an inexplicable desire to know everything that happens with this project, you can send me a message or an email requesting that I keep you updated.
Which I will.
do.
