About Me

Well for starters my name is Tony Curtis and I was born June 3, 1925 My real name is Bernard Schwartz, but i soon changed it when I went to hollywood. My parents were Jewish Hungarian immigrants Emanuel and Helen Schwartz who lived in the Bronx. Many people saw I am famous for my dark good looks, flashing long eyelashes and trademark New York accent, I have been in over 100 films since 1949. But I must say Billy Wilder's "Some LIke it Hot" with Marilyn Monroe and Jack Lemmon might just be my favorite.I was said to be just another pretty boy, but we all know how I proved to be great actor and has a vast amount of talent as well as impossible good looks. Not to mentions all my amazing performances in outstanding films. For instance playing the scheming press agent Sidney Falco in "The Sweet Smell of Success" with Burt Lancaster served as an important roll in the path to me becoming a star.I was even nominated for an oscar for my preformance as a bigoted escaped convict chained to Sidney Poitier in "The Defiant Ones."I was frequently on television; when I co-starred with Roger Moore in the TV series The Persuaders!. I later starred in McCoy and Vega$. I got my start with in show when I made my screen debut uncredited in "Criss Cross" playing a rhumba dancer. I also worked with cartoons for a bit, listen to the voice "Stony Curtis" on the The Flintstones, because its me.Since at least the early 1980s, I took up my second career as a painter. I have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and received France's honor, the Order of Arts and Letters, in 1995.I have been married six times. I first married famed actress Janet Leigh in 1951 and the together we had two daughters, Kelly and Jamie Lee. Then I began to branch out into more satisfying movie roles, and the marriage broke up in 1962. I soon after married actress Christine Kaufmann in 1962. my third child Alexandra was born in 1964 and fourth child Allegra arrived in 1966. then again I divorced in 1968. Leslie Allen was my next wife. Together we had my first son and fifth child Nicholas was born in 1971. Then my last child and second son Benjamin was born in 1973. Alas, Leslie and I split. After I took some time to deal with a substance abuse problem and I then began to write novels. I then found a love of art and began painting. The hardest moments in my life was wehn my brother Robert passed away in 1992 and in 1994, when my son Nicholas died. Later I married for a fourth time to Lawyer Lisa Deutsch in 1993. Then another divorced. But I finally found true love in my latest marriage to Jill Vanden Berg! we were married on November 6, 1998 and still remain happy and in love.

My Interests

when I was younger i was into gangs, in fact, I was even in one. I'm also really into this whole acting thing, I mean, it's a great way to unleash my creativity and pick up chicks. On acount that I'm really awesome, every movie that I have been in is just that much more awesome becaue I am in it. It's funny how that works out. I'm very interested in the ladies and I've had about seven wives, vry very atrractive, but sadly, not as attractive as me. Right now, I like to paint. I paint splendid pictures and attempt to recapture my long lost youth.
