Well, of course, my main interest is Korea! Haaaaa!! I also like music, food and watching films. Not a very sporty person but I do enjoy swimming and walking. I also like Tai Ch'i and Taekwon-Do (ITF TKD).
This is Hwang Jang Lee. Most people in Korea do not know who he is and yet he is Korean!
Have a look at what Hwang Jang Lee can do!

Other people interested in East Asia and Korea. I would also like to get to know Korean people (both male and female) for language exchange and friendship. Not sure what Korean men will make of me. For a start, I'm probably the oldest one here at Myspace but if any of you lovely Korean guys can handle an older woman then I would like to get to know you.
ALL THE MUSICIANS, BANDS AND GROUPS ON MY FRIENDS LIST I HAVE CHOSEN MYSELF AND THEY HAVE KINDLY ACCEPTED MY FRIENDSHIP. ALL OTHER MUSICIANS/BANDS/GROUPS/JUNKIES TRYING TO PROMOTE THEIR SHITTY MUSIC BY REQUESTING TO BE MY FRIEND WILL BE DENIED.
I like a lot of different types of music. I think the only one I can't tolerate is Country Music. My favourite Western bands are Jamiroquai and The Darkness. I also like to listen to Canto, Mando, and K-Pop. I enjoy listening to Bi, Jang Na-ra and Tim Young-min, Leon Lai-ming to name a few. Piga wahyo ^__^
Oh My God, I LOVE KOREAN FILMS!!! I've watched quite a few and my particular favourites are Untold Scandal, Public Enemy, Volcano High, The Way Home and My Wife is a Gangster. I also like Christopher Walken films. He's a cool guy!

I don't watch any television when I am at university. I've been watching some Korean Dramas lately like Full House, Hotelier and Stairway to Heaven. Other non-Korean TV programmes I like include Star Trek (sad, aren't I?), Babylon 5, and Emmerdale (the only UK soap opera that I like). I also like a lot of old British shows of the 1960s and 1970s (because I am of that certain age) like The Avengers, The Champions, The Saint, The Persuaders and UFO. The only American comedy show I find funny is M*A*S*H and I love the old Kung Fu series starring David Carradine. Haaaaa!!! </center
Hmmmmm, I've read a lot of books lately but they tend to be rather dry academic books for university. But they weren't all bad. I enjoy reading about Korean and Chinese history. I'm also a Harry Potter fan and I've read the first five books. One book I read last year, The Red Queen, was about a Korean Queen during the Choson Dynasty and it was a very emotional book. I was close to tears a few times. As a result, I have no desire to ever sit inside a rice chest!
Throughout my life I have had many heros and a few heroines, too. Right now, my hero is definitely Hwang Jang Lee because he is the reason why I became interested in Korea in the first place! I also hold in high esteem Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Choi Hong-hee (founder of ITF TKD) and many others. Choi Hong-Hee,Founder of ITF Taekwon-Do
Rest in peace, my lovely Sharon
