About Me

I'm finally back and settled in Cincinnati after four years away at college near Indianapolis. I'm sad to leave Indy and miss it already, but it's time to start over once again. It wouldn't be the first time, orginally I'm from Erie, PA. I miss Erie too!I'm a fun-loving, easy going person that's full of curiosity. I'm pretty shy until you get to know me. I love anything artsy, vintage, or just plain unique. I have a passion for learning other languages. I'm very fluent in Spanish and know some French. I love to write and hope to make a career out of it someday. I also love to travel, try new and interesting foods and pastimes, and most of all meet new people.img src="http://media.myspacepimper.com/images/44/18244/Animated -Roses-2-3.gif"

My Interests

Writing, designing, photography, dancing, art, shopping, anything Irish, Russian, or Spanish, traveling, music.

I'd like to meet:

You!

Music:

Hard rock/heavy metal, punk, alternative, latin, raggaeton

Movies:

I watch a lot of comedies, I love anything that makes me laugh. I grew up watching Rodney Dangerfield movies with my dad. Beyond the stupid humor, I'd have to say The Departed is my new favorite. It's amazing how much profanity they fit into that script without destroying the acting and overall plot of the story. Also, I'm a big fan of the old MGM classics: Gigi, Showboat, Meet Me in St. Louis, Easter Parade, On the Town, Singin' in the Rain, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers...

Television:

Brothers and Sisters,Family Guy, The Daily Show, Law and Order SVU, Mind of Mencia, Desparate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy.

Books:

I love collecting art books when I travel. Lately I've built quite a collection! Anything by Susan Orlean and Adrian LeBlanc. Other favorites:The Blind Assassin and America the Book. I don't read a lot in English these days because I'm too busy practicing Spanish. My all time favorite Spanish novel: Lluvia Roja. It's Mexican romance/historical fiction. I should throw in La Celestina in here too just for kicks.

Heroes:

My parents My Heroes of Journalism: Susan Orlean, Adrian LeBlanc, Ben Corbett
