For He satisfies the longing soul...

About Me

Well, I'm just a girl who loves to live and lives to love. I'm in college right now majoring in English and Spanish and How to Be an Adult. I like the first two. In my book rain and clouds are good weather.YWAM is awsome, and I think I left my heart in Chile.I hate it when people get hurt. I love board games, but not games of the heart; I can never figure out the rules.I might seem shy at first, but I really enjoy getting to know people and hearing their stories. I think friendship is beautiful; it touches us in places of the heart where romance cannot. I also think it can last a lifetime, and I am willing to fight for it!I sing without realizing it. I'm left-handed. I'm not one of those people who's afraid of the sound of silence. I enjoy puns (maybe too much) and laugh as much as I can. I want to change the world. I love Jesus, miracles, learning, rain, overcomers, words, smiles, hugs, books, Spanish, soccer, pondering the mysteries of life. I hate injustice, fear, drama, hurtful words, frowns and apathy. This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? Go get one!

My Interests

Swimming, hiking, traveling, reading, spreading the love of God, Shakespeare, puns, soccer, learning Spanish, writing, dancing in the rain, hope, dreams, mountains, Colorado, Oregon, sweatshirts, sisters, poets, Latin America, cooking, Risk, jokes, hugs, kids, sunsets, sand castles, math, real conversations, understanding, PEOPLE!

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who wants to change the world!

Music:

Umm, the music in my head.

Movies:

Not too much. I'd rather sit and talk than sit and watch a movie. However, there are classics. Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narinia, Pride and Prejudice, Star Wars, the Shawshank Redemption, Braveheart, Anne of Green Gables. That stuff.

Television:

Not really. T.V. tells you how to live your life, but not how to use your brain...

Books:

Too many. I have been told that my room looks like a library after an earthquake. Captivating is really good, you should read it.

Heroes:

IF your defintion of a hero is someone you look up to, then my hero is anyone over 5'6! Seriously, though...my little sister is my true hero. And anyone else who has the courage to make a difference.

I don't talk to lies...

But sometimes they talk to me. Even in an area of my life where I thought I had a lot of confidence and hope, there are lies which penetrate my heart, defer my hope, and steal my joy. It's devestating...
