Palatine Hill

A Gentleman's Quorum

About Me

Palatine Hill was formed in Portland in early 2002 under the proposition that, somewhere along the way, rock quit being about great songwriting. At the same time, so much of what passes for country music lacks two crucial ingredients: despair and grit.Palatine Hill is a rock band. Yet within their songs, you can hear bits of traditional Americana, whether it be the high lonesome pedal steel or the occasional mandolin.
