my mother and i moved to forked river after my parents got divorced, and i consider lacey my "hometown".
until 2009, i'll be spending most of my time in hoboken, since i go to school here.
i am an overacheiver. i become bored easily if i'm not being challenged with something. i go to stevens institute of technology as an engineering management major and economics minor, and am taking classes toward my systems engineering masters.
i believe that if you aren't changing, you're dying.
i constantly strive to learn new things and improve on things i already know how to do. growth is important- i'd rather take a few steps in the wrong direction than stand still. i live without regrets and view my mistakes as learning experiences.
i love music- i sing and know how to play guitar, bass, drums, trombone, and piano.
i read when i have time to (which isn't too often anymore). my favorite authors are mitch albom and stephen king.
i'm a pretty active person; i like to go to the gym, i run, practice yoga, and am learning tennis and kickboxing.
i also love to travel- i have family all over the country (sarasota, new hampshire, connecticut, seattle, west viriginia) and so i'm lucky enough to get to make vacations out of visiting them. my family and i also go to bar harbor, maine for one week almost every summer. i've only been out of the country once, it was with school for a ten-day tour of london, paris, and rome. once i graduate and start paying off my student loans, i hope to visit a LOT more places.
