VANDOLAH

Old-school professionalism since 2002!

About Me

Vandolah combine pop smarts with facile indie jangle, rock outbursts with spare introspection and lyrical depth, and biographically vague descriptive generalities with less than helpful genre comparisons. The band began as a home recording project for Mark Hutchins, who produced the albums Sateen Dura Luxe and The Conrad circa 1999-2001. Dan Greunke and Kyle Stevenson came aboard in 2002, and Vando soon recorded their first "proper" release, 'Please', which garnered some serious local critical raves. A followup, 'Walk It Off', was released in 2006 and soon caused reviewers to quiver with delight, volcanoes to erupt, and dogs to go cross-eyed.

The newest, 2007's 'To the Moon', is now available in Toledo, OH at Culture Clash or Ramalama Records, in Fort Wayne, IN at Borders Books & Music, and, of course, you can order direct (contact [email protected]). Be sure to check the blog section for the latest reviews, articles and tasty gossip.
