I am a graduate student at Angelo State University. I used to think I would be able to leave San Angelo after I got my Bachelor Degree, but I guess I still have more time to serve. I am working on getting my Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology, and then I will either work toward my LPC or my PhD. I work at Children's Advocacy Center; I am a Graduate Assistant at ASU; I do assessments for the Juvenile Justice Center which is giving me great experience; I work at Mosaic whenever possible, and I do a lot of other odd and end jobs as well.
I have a ton of friends that I love to hang out with, and I am thankful for how great all of my freinds are! I love kicking back, having a good time and some drinks, (which I don't have the time for right now, but soon!). The thing I love most is being with my friends and family.
I have a great boyfriend who I love to get to know more and more everyday. Things aren't always perfect, but I know someday they will be pretty darn close! No relationship comes without work, and I can say we are both working. Jared encourages me to become the person I want to be, and I am thankful that he is there for me!
It is extremely hard for me to trust people, and I can sometimes be too forgiving. Most people who know me LOVE me for the person I am, and know I don't plan on changing! I am a great friend and will do anything for you until you give me a reason not to. I try to surrond myself with fun people who promote me to grow as a person. I have been betrayed too many times to count, and I guess that has caused me to feel the way I do about a lot of things.
I have the typical dreams like most girls: career, family, and being surrounded by people who love me. My family is the greatest one I know of, and I value them more and more everyday. I hope to be able to go to a "big" city when I get into my career field. Don't get me wrong I love the comfort of San Angelo (most days) and the friends I have here; I just hope to be able to get away (even if it may be only for a few years!).Myspace Graphics
