I'm into sports. I play baseball in the summer for a men's 25+ team and I love watching the Cubs (even though sometimes it's painful)... I also like watching football, and I'm in fantasy leagues for both.
I've been trading equities in the stock market for a year and a half now, and I've been making some MAD MONEY! Okay, maybe not yet, but it's a start. Microsoft up 32% in less than 6 months really helped, but the Fed KNOWS NOTHING and the last few months have been rough. It's been a lot of fun and I've learned a lot though. Pretty soon the cash should start rolling in, so... BONUS!
I love movies too, not just as entertainment but as an art form also... Same goes for photography and writing, although I don't do either as much as I'd like to.
I like to spend time with my 2 nephews who were 3 years old on August 14th! They are so much fun, I just love them to pieces. Every day with them is like a new adventure. I love watching them grow and learn. I can't wait to coach them in Little League in a few years!
Other than that I like hanging out with my friends. Either going to bars/clubs, movies, sporting events, or just hanging around the house. I admit I'm not the most exciting guy, but once you get me out I can get pretty crazy.
I also enjoy traveling, with my favorite destinations being Vegas (6 times) or Phoenix (too many to count. I went to St. Louis for a Cardinals game in August (had to check out new Busch Stadium), and I'll probably be hitting up PHX and LV each within the next 6-12 months. Seriously, if it weren't for my nephews, I'd probably move to the desert Southwest. I hate snow and cold. Although sledding and ice skating are pretty damn fun. That's what indoor skating rinks are for though, right?
Speaking of which, I did play Ice Hockey in high school, but I wasn't all that great. I had to have knee surgery, and thus made the decision to give up hockey to focus only on baseball. I'm a pretty good skater though, so I do like going to the rink or outdoors in the winter to skate for fun. Anyway, I like hockey, but the NHL has been a joke, so I rarely watch it anymore.
