The 08-09 season has finally arrived! We know that this will be one of the best seasons yet, and can't wait to be a part of Blackhawks Hockey making a come back in Chicago. We are excited to be working again with our sponsor Bud Light. We can't stress enough how amazing you fans are. Thank you so much for the pictures, the letters, your enthusiasm and most importantly, your support! We know that being one of the Original 6 teams that the Blackhawks fans are very traditional so it feels great to be supported by the fans and the organization. The fans are the sole reason we won the "Hottest Ice Girls in the NHL" title, and with you guys behind us we are hoping to uphold our title for the 08-09 Season!!
The Ice Crew was formed for the 03-04 season. Only 2 Veterans remain- Jennie, and Yanina. Since then we have taken on Violet and Kelly who have been with us since the 04-05 season. Colleen, Erica and Katie have been with us since 05-06. Returning from Last year, are Ashley and Jenna, and we want to welcome Rookies...Ashley Lobo, Heather, Kell, Paige, and Talia. Ritsa who is one of the "original 3 girls" has decided to hang up her skates this season, as she welcomed her son Joey into the world on July 2nd, 2008. Congratulations to Ritsa and her beautiful family, but don't worry...Ritsa will still be a familiar face at the United Center!! Jen Maxwell, who came onboard 04-05 and then became our Assistant Manager for 06-07, has had an amazing recovery, Jen will always be a part of our team and we wish her the best in her ongoing recovery and success!
All our us have skating backgrounds- from hockey players, to recreational, to competitive figure skaters. Being on The United Center ice for any of us, is a rush you can't explain.

How do you become an Ice Girl?
Audtions are held each year which include showing off your skating skills and a panel interview. If you are interested in being an Ice Crew Girl next season please email us at [email protected] or call 630.881.3052 so we can keep you on file!
How old do you have to be?
This year, because Bud Light is our sponsor, all girls must be at least 21 years of age.
Can I have the Ice Crew do an appearance?
Absolutely!! If you are interested in having us do an appearance, please email us at [email protected] or call 630.881.3052
Do all the girls skate on the ice?
Yes, we have 6 girls working a game with 4 on the ice and 2 on the floor. We rotate each game.
Where can we find you during the game?
The girls assigned to the floor will always be at Fandemonium during intermissions, taking pictures and signing autographs.
