The Guy Fluffner Memorial

God bless Guy Fluffner (and vice versa!)

About Me

Guy Fluffner was many things to many people: musician, composer, activist, poet, and mentor to name just a few. By the best accounts available, his career as a musician/composer spanned from the late 50's through to his mysterious disappearance in 1995, the details of which remain earily vague and unresolved. Those closest to him remember his insatiable curiosity and note that he was 'always searching.' Sadly for those he left behind, his search seems to have taken him beyond the point of no return, perhaps to the 'lavender oasis' he mused about in his later years. Guy Fluffner left an indelible impression on the many musicians who played under his tutelage throughout the decades in his many bands and orchestras. An increasing number of these musicians are reuniting to honor the memory and the music of the man they call 'Guy' for short. This is The Guy Fluffner Memorial. God bless Guy Fluffner (and vice versa!) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . this has been another Guy Fluffner memorial, brought to you by The Guy Fluffner Memorial, an ever-expanding collective of musicians dedicated to keeping Guy's memory and music alive.
