if there was a beach anywhere near i live, id enjoy the way it feels sifty through my toes. mmmmm. i also like music, i do all sorts of fun things to it. i like to dance. lately, ive been working on a dance that allows me to express my every nuance, down to the colour of the stiching on my shorts. i call it the asshole dance, its a good way to make some room on the floor when i gets to tight. dont get me wrong, ive been known to enjoy some close contact on the dance floor, but when all you want to do it bust out to some hot shit metric is playing, you need some room. i also have a cat, he name i peanut. its amazing how much youcan learn from cats. their perception of the world is fascinating. i play guitar and computer noises to keep my spiritual energy balanced, but calvin and hobbes and yoga help with that also.
anyone really, im easy.
at the moment, Mates of State, The Strokes, Broken Social Scene, Apostle of Hustle, Metric, Radiohead, Four Tet, the Shins, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, Le Tigre, The Smiths, Modest Mouse, Aaron Neville...its a short list i know, but ive been listening more the sounds that everyday life makes instead. one of my favorites is the sound of boots crushing snow on an early winters morn. krsssh, krsssh, meow.
im watching anything and everything on ppv. the last good movie i saw was king kong, although i did muster up some laughs watching bewitched. i wouldnt recommend it though. oh and the new charlie and the choco factory isnt as bad as people say it is. i think of it more as a different, maybe parallel universe in which a similar story took place. and for the sake of your precious time, dont watch stealth (but the plane was cool looking).
anything by Carlos Castaneda, Tom Robbins, and Calvin and Hobbes (this is my bible). the I-Ching, the library of alexandra..im starting the dune series. oh, i really liked the alchemist. everyone should read that. an enchanting story of finding ones place in the universe.
emily haines....the girl is an inspiration to us all. and jag tanna, the guitarist for the once great, i mother earth. yes, i know most of you didnt like them, but this wonderful man was the catalyst for my career in music. he is a wicked fucking guitar player.
