| View | Add Favorite i am a nomad at heart... i spent the past few years globe-trotting... gathering wisdom from wrinkly old women in straw huts of indonesia... borrowing joy from homeless aboriginal kids in australia, being inspired by the age old stories told by streets and art in europe... and trying to plant seeds of hope wherever i go.... with hopes of one day finding forests. trying to live out the abundant life that Christ has offered to each one of us. growing up i thought i thought i was fatherless. the first one abandoned me when i was two years old, the second on kicked me out at the age of 13. father was a hurtful word. then i met my Heavenly Father and everything changed. God is a Father to the fatherless. a "mother" to the motherless, a Friend to the lonely, a Healer for the sick, Abundance for the poor, Peace for the striving, and Hope for the hopeless. If you feel like something is missing in your life, He probably is. Mine is a story that almost came to an premature end, I had seen so much pain in my life and the lives around me, that I saw no purpose in going on living. Until I met my Creator, and realized I was created to be part of a purpose much larger than myself. The God who created the universe, placed the stars in the sky, mapped the course of the earth, transforms creepy crawlys into beautiful winged creatures... He created YOU... He placed dreams in your heart, He mapped out an amazing path for you to follow, He offers you transformation... from the annoying problem in front of you... to the deep core of your heart... He knows you, and wants to be known by you. God took this girl who didn't want to go on living and gave her a life more beautiful than she ever could have dreamed up. He is my Father, He guides me, provides for me, protects me, corrects me, encorages me... if I began to write stories of His Faithfulness to me this page would never end... but that is my God... Your LOVE, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, your FAITHFULNESS to the skies. Your RIGHTEOUSNESS is like the mighty mountains, your JUSTICE like the great deep. O LORD, you preserve both man and beast. How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. - psalm 36 LORD, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.
