Trapp Money the Izm born in Los Angeles and raised in West Oakland started his music career playing bass guitar jamming with his mom, friends and other relatives growing up listening to Soul music from the '70s. The 8-piece band sound he uses most to produce his tracks have a pure old school vibe. His love for music comes from watching live bands perform as a child. As his knowledge different genres of music Trapp sends out a lyrical flow that doesn't type cast him in one particular style of music his life experiences heavily influence his subject matter. Recent performances include shows at the Black Box in Oakland, Halloween Boat party at Jack London Square. He is motivated to be successful due to other artists who influenced him like Johnny Guitar Watson, Too Short, NWA (Niggas With Attitude) as well as his Cousin Dean Hodges who was the very first person to release a rap record in Northern California "Too Short". Entertainment is a lifelong endeavor, it is his life and he lives it as well as performs it.
