My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Fun conversators, people into music, people passionate about life and the things that do it for them and yeah, this is cheap and tawdry: cute boys and/or men.

Music:

The Stereophonics, Coldplay, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Radiohead, Dashboard Confessional, Lit, Blur, The Killers, The Strokes, The Ramones, R.E.M., Travis, Oasis, Pink, Green Day, The B-52s, Crystal Method, Chemical Brothers, The Beatles, Snow Patrol, Isaac Stern, Itzakh Perlman, Nexxus, Flogging Molly, Indigo Girls, Diamond Rio, Stephane Grapelli, Doug Kershaw, Robbie Williams, Mary J. Blige, Mark O'Connor, The Hives, The Vines, The Libertines, The Cure, brit pop in general, Jimmy Eat World, Ryan Adams, Wilco, AC/DC, assorted showtunes, the Raveonettes, Keane, that guy that sings "All at Sea" (Jamie Cullum--wow, what a bridge) and most indie rock.

Movies:

HATE this new breed of Troy, Alamo, Alexander Lord of the Rings big battle scene knockoffs. Loved Lord of the Rings however.

Television:

Brit-coms (especially Ab Fab, Are you Being Served and Coupling--seasons with Jeff only), The View (love "hot topics" and currently taking bets on when Starr wastes away), That 70's Show, the Simpsons, Fairly Odd Parents (you must see the episode with the silence and the meteor and all the spit takes... hysterical), Sponge Bob, any sporting event and Imus in the Morning.

Books:

Hitchhiker's Guide, Illuminati Trilogy, Narnia Chronicles, This Much I Know is True, mysteries by Ellis Peters, Harry Potter (all) and some other random classics and contemporaries.

Heroes:

Optimus Prime. He always seemed to have it together, even when the cruel decepticons had control of all the world's energon cube supply and the price hit $2.00 a gallon. He always seeked unilateral support with the dinobots and could pronounce words like nuclear and terror and America. He never gave out uncontested contracts to the Constructicons and always had an exit strategy in combat (usually involving that big red plane guy). Plus, he could transform from a semi tractor trailer to a robot. Oh, Optimus where are you now?

The city so nice they named it twice. Digby just returned and we had a rollicking good time in Boston and NYC. Not only did we get loaded and lost at 5 AM on the subway, I got to ride the Coney Island...
