First of all, my name is Mike D aka Top Dawg. Born and raised in the South, I lived in places like Texas, Alabama, and ATL. I've been rapping for 6 years and have been recording for about 3 of those years. I record at Hazardous Studios under the Label HSP Music. I was brought up in the South my whole life so that's all I know. I listen to Jay Z, Jadakiss, Papoose, and other northern rappers like that to derive the style that I have along with some of the best in the south and other regions. My style is usually an uptempo rhythm with multies and lots of complex rhyme schemes. Metaphorical lyricsm and wordplay are major parts of what I do with my music. I've been featured on mainstream mixtapes by DJ 31 Degreez in Texas on his Texas Massacre series hosted by the likes of Paul Wall, Magno, and Chamillionaire. I've released two solo mixtapes named "Tha Flu" and "Beginning of the Beginning" which both had local success. Right now I am working on my next project and my album. I've completed a group album with Bama Boy Ent. that is still in the works right now. I am also doing feature for other artists all over the country and I am willing to work with other aspiring artists as well.
