About Me

Just moved to Hershey, PA because my husband is in med school here. I'm waiting for him to graduate so I can go to law school. Right now, I'm just looking for a job to help me meet that goal. Pretty much anything that will look better on my law school application than, "After receiving my Bachelor's degree, I worked at a coffee shop for two years." I miss TN, but I'm happy here with Shawn. If anyone wants to take a road trip, we have an extra room now! :)

My Interests

Scotland, history, reading, crocheting, coffee, finding a job!

I'd like to meet:

Machiavelli....he was awesome. Also CS Lewis, and JRR Tolkien. As for living people, probably Sandra Day O'Connor...I have a lot of respect for that woman.

Music:

A little bit of everything, but I really like the oldies. They just don't make them the way they used to. My all time favorite is Simon and Garfunkel.

Movies:

Most definately Pride and Prejudice and Bridget Jones' Diary. The second one was all right, but the first was much better.

Television:

I love Law and Order: SVU; CSI, and CSI-Miami. I'll also watch random movies and programs on the History Channel.

Books:

My favorite author is Jane Austen, but I love reading and re-reading C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and J.K. Rowling. Just about any books from those authors I would pick up in a heartbeat.

Heroes:

Sandra Day O'Connor is an incredibly strong woman with an incredible story, and, honestly, my grandmothers win my admiration every day. To see and do all that they did and then to continue to live their lives to the fullest; that is my dream.
