About Me

I am a contradiction. For example, I will boldly wear my Lance Armstrong LIVESTRONG cancer awareness bracelet while chain smoking through a pack of Marlboro Ultra Lights. I am working on that..... I'm not very good at poker, you can tell exactly what I am thinking by the look on my face. My sense of humor can be pretty dry and I can be sarcastic as hell, but I also genuinely like to hear people's stories. I have always been fascinated by the human condition. Corporate America sucks, but until I write that book that has been swirling around in my head for years or make that documentary, I am just gonna have to tough it out. There are a million things that I want to do, that I haven't done yet, like learn how to play the guitar or spend some time outside of the US... I think about that a lot. I think I think too much, oh yea, keep me away from Tuaca...it is an ugly thing.

Books:

Too many to list here... they are all over my house. I have run out of room, and got sick of tripping over them so some are in storage. I do love Pat Conroy, Maya Angelou and generally have a soft spot for Southern writers. Check Brian Andreas out...storypeople.com- I discovered him in SF in 2001, he is from a little town in Iowa and has several books that are a collection of stories and drawings, they are simple, but amazing!
