A San Fernando Valley native, DJ MR. has walked the halls of music since the age of fourteen. "I used to go to parties with my older brothers friends... which eventually evolved into my friends that I still chill with to this day." Of course, coming with the territory was the exposure to new music and scenes not recognized by the current pop culture. "My next door neighbor would give me tapes of home made hip hop from Los Angeles rappers and crews who eventually became the foundation and roots of the underground scene." This influence of music was what inspired DJ MR. to seek out turntables in order to play this music as loud as possible for all to hear.
