*Marianne Faithfull (i love her voice, the way she writes a song, the way she delivers a lyric. One of my main inspirations)

*Dusty Springfield (the greatest white soul singer, EVER! up ther with aretha. and 'white heat' is one of the most underappreciated albums ever!)

*Aly and AJ (the best girl group at the moment in my opinion! those girls can rock!)
*Eighth Wonder (they only released one album, but it's a great album!)

*Alannah Myles (She should be HUGE but, alas, she's only known for one song)
