Grupo DeZeo is a 6 piece Tejano Band Located in Toledo, Ohio. Formed in 2002, Grupo DeZeo quickly became one of the hottest bands in the Toledo area. Unfortunatly about a year and a half later the band broke up due to differences in the group. In February of 2005 original Grupo DeZeo members Mark Najar, Eric Estrada, and Carlos Hernandez Jr. along with new members Jesus Abitua III, Sammy Gonzalez, and David Rodriguez Jr. reformed the group. Once again Grupo DeZeo quickly became one of the hottest bands around Toledo playing gigs every week. In December of 2005, Sammy Gonzalez (Keyboards, Vocals) decided to leave the group due to personal reasons. Seeing a need for a new keyboardist, Carlos (Drummer at the time) who's original instrument was keyboards decided it was time to take over the keyboard duties. Once that decision was made that opened the door for DeZeo to bring in longtime friend and brother Pablo Herrera to fulfill drumming duties for the band. With it's current lineup, Grupo DeZeo has never been better and is making a push to reach out further then before. Working with Zapata, and M and M Productions, Grupo DeZeo Is positive they will achieve their goal to reach tejano music lovers everywhere in the midwest and possibly beyond. Currently, Grupo DeZeo is working on the songs for their first cd which they hope to release very soon. Expect great things to come from Grupo DeZeo. For bookings contact Mark @ 517-263-8204
