After years of home made mix tapes, compositions and various arrangements using the simplest of monkey tools,
solo artist Wes Frew started creating music under the guise Commodified in the winter of 2005. He has immerged as a voice of the unsold and unsellable souls. A broken ship at sea, just sailing, not necessarily towards the shore.
Influenced by the culture clash of growing up in rural Ontario vs. the suburban sprawl lifestyle of living in his Hometown London, Ontario, his songs and words convey the passion of life and the cruel ways it teases you like the sublime breath of a god.
iI have been writting an album in my bedroom for the past year now. iIt is a confession of
sSelfworth,
rRegret and
pPassion. nNone of it seemed too unatural to sing aloud. tThe time I spent alone with my guitar are times I look back and cherish.
sSometimes more than anything. jJust me and my guitar. iI can recall only some of my mMemories. iI wanted to share some these things with others.
