About Me

I talk with my hands. I have expressive eyebrows, love small talk, and have an affinity for pigs and travel. When I can, I write fiction and poetry. I enjoy modern dance. My last roomate considered my recycling and composting habits obsessive...I agree...but she settled for the fact that I made up for my shortcomings with a sweet banana bread recipe and a shameful interest in hand-washing dishes. Enough about me.

My Interests

see "about me"

I'd like to meet:

Someone who gets excited about what they are talking about and isn't afraid of people who do. Optimists...nuff said.

Music:

no genres float to the top, just music that carries memories or that makes me want to jump up on a wobbly chair and shake it like a polaroid picture

Movies:

Don't see them enough, what is this DVD movement all about? Did see Big Fish, and Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless Mind--thought they were better than good. Still like the classics, Empire Records and Princess Bride. No one can beat what Christopher Guest has going with Waiting for Guffman and Best in Show.

Television:

don't watch it. much.

Books:

Anything by Italo Calvino. "The Passion." The Griffin and Sabine Series.

Heroes:

they change daily. billy collins is up there.

FOUND - my phone and debit card

Ah yes, the phone in the pocket of the hoodie I was wearing after bellydance class. The debit card in the ladies locker room of the yoga studio. Apparently, physical activity makes me absent-minded.
