I havent given much thought to interests the last few years, ive been a stay at home mom. My world was consumed with children. I did manage to go back to school and become a Medical Assistant. I would like to pursue a hobby in photography, i like camping and fishing with my family, i love hanging out with friends and family, and parties, you know, the kind where you buy things..stuff, home decor, jewlery, cooking things. I would really like to get out more and meet new people. The kids are older now and its time for me..at least part time.
I love meeting new people...Anyone of like mind or kind heart..im a bit shy, but strangers are just friends ya havent met yet right? Oh and Michael Rowe too, i have to meet him. No, not the Dirty Jobs guy, tho he is quite interesting and funny, the Canadian Author. Michael is an amazingly brilliant writer and married to Dr. Sultry (Brian)...lol Michael became one of my dearest friends over the past year or so, we talk when we can and chat together most days on the computer. My husband and I have been invited to Canada to visit, and as soon as we can, i will get my wish of a face to face meeting and hang out with one of the sweetest people you will ever know. Then theres Gerard Butler, steamy and dreamy......yeah, keep dreamin Cindy...lolThe animals you see on my page are my gaurdians. Each one of them I have met face to face, only Mountain Lion have I stared into its eyes at a zoo, but he made his presence known to me as a child in a real life manner in my own backyard. Owl has come to me in person, in dreams, and through a very special friend, always letting me know when something is about to happen that will shake me to the core, but never revealing to much. Bear I met face to face on Mt. Grahm in Arizona with her cub. This was the most pertrifying moment of my life, but at the same time the most loving. I was only about ten feet from momma and baby yet no harm. She stared at me, I at her, baby ran up a tree then it was pretty much over. Talk about humbling and knowing you are at the mercy of nature. Racoon was a funny little companion. I met him on a night of camping, hubby and kids out in the canoe, me enjoying a nice fire..racoon came and sat right next to me, looked up at me as if to say..may i join you? he did scare me and i think all the campers around us laughed. Buck...our meeting was not the best. My daughter and I came upon an accident involving Buck. He was alive but crippled. As i sat in my car crying, staring out the window..he looked at me...i put my hand up on the glass and looked strait into his eyes and told him it was going to be ok, it was almost over..he seemed to calm..my daughter just kept saying mom, hes looking right at you, mom, he can hear you. I will never forget those eyes. I am being as patient as possible but anticipating my next Gaurdians appearance, if one or several, i cant wait to meet them.

I read alot, but, at the moment, i am patiently awaiting the release of my dear friend Michael Rowe's book...Other Mens Sons. ( I have it and really, this book of essays has to be his best yet! it is a must read for everyone!) I have also read his book Looking For Brothers and Triptych Of Terror and his many brilliant articles in The Advocate. And may I say that the Harry Potter series was most awsome! I have a huge collection of Pagan, Wiccan and Shaman books, i read each and every one of them, some more than once. I think im addicted...lol I am also hoping to get my hands on another friends book...hint hint, David Shelton...lol
