Shiney Friend borrowed it's name from a indie band. The indie band Shiney Friend came from ilsle of white in the south of England. I don't think they still play. They were almost down the summer of 98 and had only 3 or 4 shows at the parks on the island. The electopop playing Shiney Friend consist of the lead singer from The Standups, Niklas Uddholm. Sometime some of his musician friends sing with him, like David the great, lead singer in Ankarström. Shiney friend was actually a renesance from the former electro/trash affix twin lokalike band death warriors. The first songs from the new born Shiney friend reached the swedish radio the summer of 2002. After the gig at the indie klubb panama in stockholm with jmy haze beatbox shiney friend suddenly disapeared. The recent years the only trace from Shiney Friend is silence and grief. At 2006 Shiney Friend came back with 25 new songs and has performed some of them at club StepOn, the University and at club King Kong.
