Happy Death Men is a band whose art will encompass, to quote Gautier,"the morbidly rich tints of decomposition, the tones of mother-of-pearl which freeze stagnant waters, the roses of consumption, the pallor of chlorosis..., the leaden gray of pestilential fogs, the poisoned and metallic greens smelling of sulphide of arsenic..., the bitumens blacked and browned in the depths of Hell."
The mysterious Doné, Happy Death Men's de facto leader, has been praised for both his exquisite arrangements and "epic good looks." His skills as a producer are also in high demand amongst the aesthetic elite worldwide. Doné would like everyone to believe that he did not, in fact, write all this himself.
