My name is Beth (as you see at the top left) and I am an aspiring elementary school teacher. I am going to complete my Master's in May of this year. My closest friends (and you all know who you are) mean the world to me. I am known for my sarcastic wit and my caring nature. I firmly believe in this little piece of wisdom from none other than Dr. Seuss: "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." I am the type of person who can have fun doing almost anything--even nothing, if the company is high quality. I can be serious at times, and light-hearted at others, depending, of course, upon the situation. Dorky things like impeccable grammar/spelling, and SAT-caliber vocabulary really make my day, in addition to electronic devices such as my IRiver (boo to IPods), cell phone, computer, and digital camera. I tend to partake in more low-key activities like going bowling, playing pool, intellectually-stimulating card/board games, and chatting the night away with captivatingly eccentric strangers at the local diner, getting to bed on the earlier side over spending a night drinking away at the bar until 5AM. Roni and I also have a tradition of watching episodes of 'House'and other television series together! These things fit into my schedule much better than going out to bars/clubs. Health and physical fitness are important to me, despite my love of the Oreo Madness from T.G.I. Friday's (which they have actually taken off the menu--how stupid of them!), and smores ices from Ralph's. But hey, I do go to the gym as often as possible (typically 4-6 times per week) to make up for it...haha...OK, that's enough about me for now...(Is it obvious that I like to talk/write?!?)...Any questions, comments, or suggestions?
