i really enjoy filmaking, going to gigs, djing, cooking, travelling and seal hunting. that last one was a joke, not very funny granted.
i would like to meet my many influences such as michel gondry (i would be willing to sleep with him to learn half the stuff he knows), spike jonze, chris cunningham, jonathan glazer and wes anderson. i would also like to meet bjork and thom yorke. i have already met steeve coogan, so thats one crossed off my list.
Im really into electronica music. i think its the only pure genre of music left, the only genre that has not been exploted yet. i think its the most emotional and organic form of music. my favourite acts are boards of canada, prefuse 73, kid capret, the knife, whitey, cut copy, hot chip, nathan fake, m83, metronomy, air, amon tobin, vitalic, chris clark, aphex twin, daft punk, four tet, the postal service, hess is more, ladytron...im also open to other stuff but obviously it has to be good!
i think wes anderson is the best filmmaker alive at the moment. he creates films that are so perfectly emotional and dark humoured. the royal tenabuans and life aquatic are the best two films out there! im also a big fan of leon and david fincher movies like fight club and seven. genius.
i hate admitting it but at the moment it has to be lost. i know its so incrediably stupid and they are never going to tell you any concrete info about what the hell is going on but man, its so gripping and shot so very well for a tv program. and south park, it is truely offensive which makes it amazing to watch.
i don't like books, i don't really have the time! but my favourite book is yes by danny wallace, it changed my life. it did, really!
is there such thing as a hero in this mordern day that we live in? Apart from jack thomas james davies, he really is amazing.
