I'm a raging, compulsive shopoholic. There's nothing better than spending good quality time with my fiance (Unless, of course, I'm shopping with my fiance) and listening to music, going to movies, etcetera, etcetera.
Courtney Love cause I find her absolutely FASCINATING, Barack Obama (D-IL), I'd love to meet a slew of psychological theorists, but all the ones I want to meet are dead (Carl Jung, Alfred Adler, and the ilk), Bob Geldof and Bono, Muicca Prada, Marc Jacobs, and, um, that's it.
I heart the Ramones, Sex Pistols, the Runaways, Tom Petty, Modest Mouse, Frank Sinatra, yes, Frank Sinatra, Green Day, Hole (I don't care how "crazy" she is, I heart Courtney Love) Nirvana, 90's alt rock (before alt rock got infected with stupid pop), Posion, GNR, The Doors The Doors The Doors The Doors! Oh, and Johnny Cash. Is that weird for someone who hates country music? Dylan, NIN, Cat Stevens. Didn't see that one comin', didja? Garbage, Blondie, and basically anything that's pre-2000 and obscure. Oh, and Bikini Kill and New York Dolls. I may love the alt-rock, but my heart belongs to punk. And I'm also gaining an unhealthy infatuation with the album "Eye to the Telescope" by KT Tunstall. It's a good damn album.
I'm a sucker for horror flicks, dramas, and if a movie can make me cry it's a damn fine film cause I don't cry at movies. I like 'em twisted, too. The Departed was excellent and made me salivate profusely over Leonardo DiCaprio (Scoff if you will, but he actually looked like a dude in that one) Running Scared is a good one. Princess Bride, Million Dollar Baby, Clue (yes, Clue is also a movie, BASED on the boardgame) Napolean Dynamite, I'm not into chick flicks so much. I'm not one for cheesefests. Um, really, I'll watch anything, though...
Family Guy, American Dad, Roseanne (up until like, the 5th season), Intervention, pointless VH1 "celebreality" shows, SOUTH PARK and whatever's on that scores least on the suck scale...
Alas, I've shelved recreational reading until I graduate, as I get tired of reading after staring at chapters and chapters of textbooks. In the meantime I gorge on magazines.
Have you overcome adversity? Have you ever struggled through life? Have you ever done something you're really proud of or gotten past something you weren't? If yes, then you're my hero. People don't take the time to stop and think about those things...
