A Call to Action
This is a call to action!
Why do our children have a distorted image of power: Rappers, Athletes and Movie Stars?
Did we fail to teach them about God, the one who made the Heavens and the earth?
This is a call to action!
Why do our children think that the church is full of double standards and darkness?
Did we fail to uphold God’s standards and to be the light of the world?
This is a call to action!
Why do our children continue to be deceived about their actions?
Did we fail to show them the difference in right and wrong?
This is a call to action!
Why do our children live in apathy and laziness?
Did we fail to teach them about Garvey, M.L. King and JFK?
This is a call to action!
Why are our children living to die instead of dying to live?
Did we fail to show them that Jesus was the only way to eternal life?
This is a call to action for a generation that could be more powerful and successful than any other generation previous to this. This is a generation that can elect the first Black man or the first Woman to the Presidential Office. However; this is also a generation full of apathy and laziness, with an urgency to do nothing. This is a call to action for all of those who call themselves leaders, but allow theirs friends to self destruct and be deceived by this world!
