Mr. Ann Peake

Hello, we're Mr. Ann Peake. Our acronym is MAP.

About Me

Spencer and Paul got lost in a car one day, and so Mr. Ann Peake was born.
Mr. Ann Peake began as a high school collaboration for a battle of the bands, and took it from there. Former members have gone on to bigger and better things, (well, different things, anyway,) and now MAP is Paul Fauteux and Spencer Leach.
Both members have either finished or are about to finish Bachelor’s degrees, Spencer’s in Arts and Management from Shenandoah University, and Paul’s in English Literature from James Madison University. College men, Mr. Ann Peake produces smart rock for smart people as well as loud rock for loud people, medium-volume rock for medium people, and music at a number of other volumes and intelligence levels that virtually any listener is encouraged to enjoy.
Paul is heavily influenced by 90's alternative music, taking cues from bands like Weezer and Better than Ezra as well as the Pixies to form a quirky approach to pop song writing. Spencer’s influences are diverse and numerous, among them Tool, The Beatles, Dinosaur Jr., Aphex Twin, and The Jimi Hendrix Experience.
The duo having recorded music on home equipment for several years, the media section of mrannpeake.com is host to downloadable freebies from years gone by and is a fine resource for fans and those doomed to become fans alike.
Keepin' it real lo-fi and old school, son. Donchu forget it.
