Well I'm a mom of two, a son Erik jr who is 5 and a daughter Brooklyn who is 3. I am married to the love of my life Erik and have been for 5 yrs.I couldn't be happier with my life. I have 1 brother and 3 sisters, and 8 nieces and nephews. we have a big family.Brooklyn was born with a congenital heart defect called hypoplastic left heart syndrome (hlhs) basically the left side of her heart did not develop. She needs a series of three open heart surgeries to reroute her blood flow. she has had 2 and will have her third soon.No her heart will never be "normal". She is a very happy and healthy little girl. She has been through so much but seems to always have a smile on her face. She is truly the strongest person I know. Everything I've learned in life I've learned from my kids.I love them more than anything.My nephew Tayven has autism, autism is a very difficult thing to explain, I myself do not know very much about it but I am learning more everyday. My best friend Nicole his mom Teaches me so much. As a society we tend to look for cures that will benefit us but we need to stop being so damn selfish and save the next generation. our children depend on us. We need to bring awareness to all the things that effect our kids, we need to stop looking at all our differences and look deeper what can we learn from each other. I owe so much to the surgeons that have worked miracles on my little girl Dr. Starnes and Dr. Wells at children's hospital Los Angeles I owe them my life and to them I will be forever grateful! heart layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com MyHotComments
