I am here for Friends

About Me

Well, I'm 38/M been happily married for almost 8 years as of this writing. I have 2 wonderful kids from a prior attempt at wedded bliss that fell miserably short of the goal. My son (17) live with us, my daughter(14) lives with her mother in North Carolina.I work for a fuel terminaling company, basically a warehouse for gas/diesel etc. Not exciting but it pays the bills. I have a regional position, so I travel extensively.I am a libertarian. A vote of your ideals is never waisted, voting with the crowd because thats who will win anyway is.I have been a theatrical set designer, nuclear engineering laboratory technician, event producer, stage manager, truck driver, church sexton, sound engineer, substitute teacher, cafeteria manager, highway line painter, stock-boy, burger-flipper, grounds keeper, locksmith, secretary, and stall cleaner.

Needless to say life has had its ups & downs.

Music:

currently swing, jaz, blues, big band stuff.... always classic rock.... frequently celtic, classical / mystical.... sometimes metal.... very infrequently country, and even sometimes bluegrass

Movies:

just about any & any genre it takes an amazing show to really capture my emotion, some that are still able to do so include Dead Poets Society, Mr. Holland's Opus, Finding Neverland... but then I can escape with any great show, loved the current release of the Narnia movie, some really nice moments in there.Love musicals, but not the Rodgers & Hamerstien crap, or much ALW stuff... I prefer stuff like Rent, Ms. Siagon, Jekyll & Hyde, Sweeny Todd, Jesus Christ Superstar, and even the recent remake of Bye Bye Birdie.also really like 'the last temptation of Christ'. Very thought provoking, (which is probably why the church fought it so hard)
