been a while since I updated. well, i only have one thing to really say.
Timing is everything.
Sometime if you don't take advantage of the opportunity, you miss out and you never know if you'll get it again. Time just passes you by. And I used to spend too much time on here... So i stopped and i'm going to make my life happen and not watch it happen...
Ok, so enough of that....
My cousins are my favorite. I love them...
I love a good martini. Drinking excessively isn't a good thing... but it's fun.
Velcro Pygmies is the newest fun thing to do. Great times.

Everyone is having babies or are getting married. What's the dang deal? People on the east coast don't even think about getting married until early thirties. Why are we in such a rush? Seriously... People are more career oriented out there....
Mavs tried their best, but we're happy for their success. World Cup and NBA finals were great reasons to drink. Soo much drinking...
My family is important to me... I don't know what i'd do without them...

I love to sleep in. I love sleeping in when I have nothing planned the entire day. i think that we all do so much and we don't sleep enough. Hell, i'd rather sleep any day of the week than go out. But i love spending time with my friends, so i do that. Blah.
I need to get my life together! Things aren't looking too grand. I'm working on it, though. Slowly but surely. Baby steps.
Jason Terry is my boyfriend. I ♥ him. I'm going to buy a jersey with his name for the Finals. GO MAVS. I'm so excited. This team has totally turned around since Mark Cuban bought the franchise in '01 (that's the right year, right?). I'm so excited to have a great team in Dallas... a winning team. Bah. Tired. I hate being sick.. POOP.

Summer is jam packed with stuff to do and things that need to get done. Plumbing in our house is messed up. Gotta fix that. Computer desk for my bedroom. Organize my closet- still have not done that. Lots of other stuff...
*** I recently had a a song remind me of a former friend. It had me wondering why weren't friends anymore. So, i thought that maybe, if i tried out to reach out to her, we could rekindle the friendship, per se. However, it wasn't the case, and instead, she made me feel like dirt. I'm sure that wasn't her intention, maybe it was, who knows, but it made me question- why am i trying to fix things when i don't think i did anything wrong? I guess there was some bad blood or an incident that made us drift a part, but nothing so significant that i thought we wouldn't remain acquaintences. Nevertheless, this makes me appreciate the people that i have now. the ones that stand by me when i need them. not the ones who i thought were my friends but won't fight for it when things get bad. Blah blah blah. I'm wasting my time typing this. It's a lost cause. But, i tried, and that's all that matters.
*** On top of that, i'm sick. Yeah, sick and tired of seeing the Mavs get beat. Jason Terry, my boo, needs to be a little more consistent. And so does Shelli's boo, Dirk, or as she affectionately refers to him, Nor Nor. Ha. Can't wait....
*** I am sick. I feel like poop. AHHH.

I have posted a blog, check it out . That pretty much sums up my thoughts on today... aside from the fact that i've been having a killer craving of Memphis BBQ. Commissary anyone? Hell, Corky's would do right now... Oooh, Rendezvous. Oh how I miss my Memphis people. I definitely took those girls for granted... Tracey, Kirsten, Alison, Lyndsay, Alina, Lindsey, Josie, Nicky, April... and the list goes on. I miss you all like crazy. you were all so great to me and i hope that i was able to return the love. I hope to visit soon, Tracey is getting married in August!
(sigh) I've had a really emotional day. A really close relative of mine is in the hospital. If you could keep her in your thoughts for me, that would be great. It's not too critical, but serious enough for us worry.
I miss my cousin...Van, i love you.

Going to the gym in a minute. decided that i've let myself go too much. Since moving back from Memphis, i've gained a considerable amount of weight. Nothing i'm really proud of, but those nights without much sleep and beers do catch up to you eventually... oh, and i shall not forget the nights at the IHOP, or "the omlette store" as my roommate called it last night. So, i'm going to do this for me. I'm going to get my big ass to the gym and get back into shape. Almost like AJ, i had really good calves. They're lost somewhere... so i'm on a mission to find it. Plus, gaining this weight has made me feel less attractive, and who's going to be attracted to me if I'm not...? Fair enough. Lata, bitches! ♥-shar

***Quick Updates***

Wow, lots to update on.... quick little notes... I'm going to Memphis on the 18th for a friend's wedding. Most exciting part? The Memphis BBQ. I'm so excited about that...
Van and Fam came to visit, and i love that family. The boys are great. Alex also came and that was great too. My aunt from Boston came out... A little family reunion.
My family are the most important people in my life. It becomes so apparent every day, and i tend to take it for granted but i love my family more than words could ever describe.
School starts soon, and i'm excited, but a little nervous at the same time. I'm going full time and trying to work full time. I might get a second job for some extra fundage, who knows.
Newest obsession is shoes. I've been a shoe buying machine.
I think i'm getting out of my materialistic phase. I bought some clothes from (gasp) Old Navy. They actually have pretty cute polos. Geez, i think that's a step. I don't need designer/label clothes... although they are nice to have...I'm learning that you don't have to buy expensive things for them to be nice or of good quality...
Sometimes... it's a little too late...(a reflection of how timing is everything)

Mavs are the Western Conference Champions!!! It's a nice feeling i'm sure. we had people over for the game on Saturday- cooked out on the grill, and just hung out. Randy helped put our pool table together so it is starting to come together. we now have a Poker table at the house. So, late nights of poker and stuff sounds like a plan. Thinking about a lot of improvement stuff for the house. i'm really excited about it all. Still waiting for a plumber to come over and fix my bathroom. Blah. It sucks sharing a bathroom with two boys. But, lucky for me, they're really clean boys. I just liked having the privacy to shower with a lock. LOL, there isn't a lock on the door in that bathroom.
Boys are crazy. LOL. Long day yesterday. Lunch with the crew. Hung out till late. Good times. I'm exhausted.
No more talk about R, M or L words. They do not exist in my vocabulary. Plus, they don't hold any kind of significance either. I'm bitter. poo.

--Mavs game is tonight. Game 5 for those who aren't keeping track. So the series is tied 2-2, and i'm sure the Mavs will pull through since they are playing at home. Let's hope that is the case. After reviewing Game 4, I'm realizing that the Mavs' offense isn't confident in their shots, because I feel like they are just shooting the ball to shoot it. Plus, they don't attempt any offensive rebounds, they just assume they will make the shot and run to the other end of the court. Blah. I just hope that we're able to get the focus back to have the team I know they are. Mavs will go all the way. I have faith.
--I've seen The DaVinci Code and X-Men: The Last Stand recently, and I don't know how I feel about that. Both movies were good. They were pretty suspenseful, for the most part. The DaVinci Code was good, but i expected more. Of course, it's not as good as the book. X-Men: The Last Stand is not consistent with the other two films. I understand that there is a new director, but it's just not the same. Good movie though, overall, but doesn't follow through with the actual comic. Blah.
--So the plan now is to see The Break Up and I can't wait. Me and Mel are dying to see it. I love Jennifer Aniston. Can't wait. I love Vince Vaughn, too. they're a cute couple..
--The Hills, a spin off from Laguna Beach premiered yesterday. Mixed feelings. Still love LC, but not feeling Heidi. Are girls really that stupid? I'm ashamed to have them represent me. But, i'm not a 19 year old California rich girl. Blah. The previews look good though... I miss my 8th & Ocean. I missed the season finale. Anyone have that on DVR?

*Mavs Game 3 is tonight! I'm so excited. I definitely plan on watching this game with a lot of people tonight. I need to get out and get my mind off things. I've been way too stressed out lately. All I really want is to just kind of relax and enjoy every moment. So the usual place would be Racks, and I am sure we'll have a good crowd.
*I have to work tomorrow. Blah. At least there will be no traffic. No other updates as of yet. These are my plans for today... See you at the Rack! ♥-shar

Couple things:
Go Mavs!!!! I knew they'd tie it up. Now, on to Phoenix. I'm so excited and yet, slightly nervous about this series. The SUNS are so unpredictable. They can make a 7 point lead into a tie game with ease. It's insane. So my plans for tonight... Going to El Paseo with Cook and the gang for some delicious Mexican food. (Thank you, my sweet Alex, for allowing us to come!) Then, i might go to Kathy's graduation, who knows. I've got a lot to do, but i need to do this to support her. Very proud of Ms. Kathy Nguyen. :) Uh, what else?
Game 3 is Sunday night. 7:30 pm. Be there. Same place.
My day will consist of this: -working out
-tanning
-laundry
-cleaning my room
-organizing my closet
-figuring out my school sitch
