About Me

Try.Fail.Repeat is the band I play bass in. If you enjoy the T.F.R tunes in my player, click the pics to check out our profile. So far, we've released two EPs, Waking Dream, in Sept 07, and Drone Effect, March 08...if you're interested in getting a copy of either, contact me, the band, or come and see us live.

A little bit about me: I play bass. I write songs. I play guitar, but, I wouldn't call myself a guitarist. I do like to sing, but, I'm certainly not what you might call an accomplished singer. I probably could play piano again if I bothered to practice and if I could fit the piano at my parents house in my house.

I like all kinds of music. I have all types of influences, a brief list is to the left. Back in 2002, I independently released a solo CD entitled "Wu". Creative, huh?

It was a first for a couple of things: I wrote all the lyrics & music, and I played guitar. Three songs are posted above. I plan on making another solo CD sometime in the future. I use CDBaby to distribute my material and they hooked me up with the following online retailers:

As far as instruments go, I proudly play and endorse Michael Tobias Design bass guitars, considered by many the finest basses in the world. I happen to agree.

I also have been known to play Fender basses, too. When it comes to guitars, I tend to favor Gibson. For bass amplification, I like the sound of SWR amps & cabs - that's what I'm playing through now. I recently added a Boss chorus pedal and a Sans Amp stomp box that I'm using for overdrive.
