About Me

Born in a cave deep in the forests of the ocean, I came into this world with my beard. Some said I was a freak. I said nay, I am merely a bear-child from the past. I could talk as well, obviously, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to say that.
(This is the part that's not made up) As I grew I decided early on that I wanted to be an artist. I also decided that I wanted to be lazy and play videogames all day. So pretty much that's what my life has been, videogames and artistry. Well, not really, I also play piano and guitar, watch films, and do other things. More recently it's also been about drunkenness, and even socialising, imagine that.
Now I'm at university studying to be an animator, and I have every intention of this being my career, because real jobs are shit, however much you get paid. Y'know what else is shit? Cooking. Also, washing up.

My Interests

Games, Movies, Music, Guitar, Piano, Comics, Art, Drawing, Writing, Reading, NHL

I'd like to meet:

A talking dog of some kind. Or any talking animal. Talking animals rock.

Music:

Mostly rock music for me, but I'm also a big film score fan. Favourite bands/artists include -
Our Lady Peace
Lifehouse
Breaking Benjamin
Incubus
Modest Mouse
Cold
James Horner
Hanz Zimmer
Scott Bradley

Movies:

I've got so many favourite films it hurts. But my favourite film ever, animated or nay, is Watership Down. Hell yes.
Y'know what? Screw it. Have a short list.

The Big Lebowski
Monsters Inc.
TMNT (1990 version)
Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey
A Goofy Movie
Return to Oz
Tom & Jerry (shorts)
Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies (shorts)
And many, many, many more. o_O

Television:

Farscape. The best damn TV show ever written in the history of mankind. It's a beautiful thing.
Also -
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
Spongebob Squarepants
Rocko's Modern Life
The Mighty Boosh
Garth Marenghi's Darkplace

Books:

Watership Down - Richard Adams
Deadhouse Gates - Steven Erikson
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass - Lewis Carroll
Burmese Days - George Orwell
Sonic the Hedgehog in Castle Robotnik - Martin Adams, which pretty much taught me how to write.

Heroes:

I don't really have any heroes, but I look up to a lot of artists and animators. Richard Elson, Richard Williams, Glen Keane, Frank Thomas, Ollie Johnston, Chuck Jones, Tex Avery etc. etc. There's a lot of great artists and animators that are better than me, basically.

My Blog

This is shite.

Anyone else keep getting a bunch of friend requests from "people" sporting some kind of shitty "4Uni" logo? Methinks some wankers are trying Myspace guerilla marketing. Anyways, it's pissing me off. I...
