... ROCK THE FUCK OUT!!!!

About Me

Forming in 2002 Embers Burnt have created an active and dynamic sound that emanates from the generic properties of metal, but engenders a real driving sense of melody and emotional truthfulness, without abandoning their metal/hardcore sound. Their ability to write catchy but hard and heavy songs has seen them gain a growing fanbase in the South Yorkshire area. After successfully completing some complex, thoughtful and heavy songs and a flurry of live gigs (including shows with 'Hondo Maclean' and 'planes mistaken for stars)' the band recorded their debut e.p. "Articulations of the Severance Diarist". After this activity, the band suffered a casualty in the form of their singer. The band died.
In 2005 the band were reborn, old material was cast aside and newer heavier material was prepared. A singer was then found and In less than two months the band had debuted their new material and line-up. The new sound still retains the uplifting melody of before, but combines it with punishing vocals and a heavier, more focussed approach to song writing.
Recently the band have been into Treehouse Studios with Carl Bown (Laruso, Fightstar) to record a four song ep, which will hopefully be released at the beginning of 2007.
