» Since the foundation of the band in 2003, Molehill has been exploring countless numbers of different genres such as alt. rock, dream pop and folk.
Now, inspired by the shoegaze- and post rock movements of the 90'es mixed with today's neo-psychadelic indie rock scene, Molehill has grown to be a low light laboratory of perforating noise machines, radios and crackling electronics, epic guitar soundscapes, dark keyboard drones, apocalyptic bass lines, haunting voices, fragile xylophones and dramatic drums.
Molehill's lyrics have always been highly influenced by the city life in hometown Copenhagen. The output is poetic and heartfelt stories about life, death and darkness between traffic lights, dirty pavement and tall empty buildings.
Although the references are many, Molehill's universe insists to be unique and the band's coming audio/visual live shows will be an experience and a challenge for both eyes and ears.
