About Me

Okay, so I know this little cartoon is a bit sick, but it made me laugh . . .Where do I start? I was raised in Washington State, and moved to Massachusetts when I was 14 years old. I finished high school in Amherst, MA and went to college at UMASS, Amherst. Throughout college I coached gymnastics, which I really miss . . I had a great team of gals who worked really hard!I moved to CA about 3 1/2 years ago to get "started" on my career and to begin life after college . .I have never really been a "snow bunny," and cannot stand being cold. Although Massachusetts is beautiful and Boston is an amazing city, I did not want to move there and endure the 4 months of winter . . .Plus, California never has a shortage of something to do!I keep pretty busy . .I work for a fashion-trade show during the day and run my own PR company called Adrenaline PR, where I manage various talent including actors, models and music-artists. I usally hit the gym for a few hours and either come home and chill or go out with friends (clubs, coffee, movies etc.) In my not-so-spare-time I am usually running errands around the house, going to movie premiers, getting my ass-kicked in Tae Bo . . .watching Grey's Anatomy, reading, dancing etc. etc.I am currently single, and learned quickly that you have to be very selective about who you "choose" in California, since the general mentality (because of the prevalent movie-industry), is "what can you do for me," and "how can I use you." Can't say I am used to that since I am from the East Coast . . .not to say I have not met a great amount of people, originally from California-but, the mentality here is certainly a bit different.
MySpace CodesThe past few years have certainly taught me a lot of REALLY difficult lessons--I cannot say I would do the past few years over, but I do believe that what I have learned along the way will help me in the future! I look forward to meeting "real" people; people with goals, aspirations and those who are caring and good-hearted. Hate and vengeance are very dangerous things and they can be consuming . .I have learned over the years to accept people as they are rather then try and turn them into something they are not. I try my best to surround myself with positive and up-beat people who want have a desire to do good things in the world. I think I am rambling now . . .

My Interests

Dancing, Reading, Writing, Movies, Clubs, Entertaining with family & friends, Going to the beach, Working Out,

MySpace CodesShopping, Enjoying a glass of red-wine and good conversation . . .I enjoy a lot of things. I don't take myself too seriously and do not do well with overly narcistic people. I am a bit of a mix; while I enjoy living it up at a club with my girlfriends, I also crave those lazy days at home where silence, a good book, and a comfy chair are all you need . .

I'd like to meet:

Myspace Backgrounds Out-going, honest, sincere, loyal, modest, good-looking, smart, funny, and dependable people . . Since this whole MySpace thing has caught on so quickly I figured it would be nice to connect with old friends and have the opportunity to meet new ones as well. When I first signed up on MySpace I was open to the whole dating thing and even went out a few times with some seeminly nice fellows . . um, no. Sorry, but I need to meet you--email just does not cut it. If you write me one of those random pick up emails I will not respond. Basically this whole MySpace thing for me is a great way to keep in touch with friends . .nothing else. And, no offense, but if you are married or in a serious relationship and are trying to add me as your friend . .gonna have to pass on that one! I am to selfish to share a potential male-partner with anyone (nor do I have the desire to do so) and have never been one to settle.

Music:

My music tastes are pretty diverse: I like anything from Enya, to JZ, to Faith Hill. . . .I am not huge into country and heavy-metal gives me a headache (does Limp Biskit count, because I love working out to that) . . I usually gravitate towards R&B/Hop-Hop and old-school artists like Michael Jackson, Madonna, etc. --all the great 80's stuff I grew up on. I also like "soft-rock," type of stuff like Seal and Sting and alternative music such as Greenday, Coldplay, and Dave Matthews. And, when I am sick of the 3 same songs they play on each station, I like to turn on classical and clear my thoughts or take in the world events on NPR.

Movies:

My favorite movie is The Gladiator . . some other notable favorites are: Braveheart, Titanic, The Notebook, A Long Kiss Goodnight, The Professional, Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken, The Cutting Edge, U Got Served (movie sucked, dancing was AMAZING), and The Joy Luck Club . .

Television:

Grey's Anatomy . .and, when I am working out I watch Rachel Ray . .I also like Dr.90210; guilty pleasure, although Dr. Ray is SUCH a dork and gets annoying . .

Books:

My Sister's Keeper, The 7 Spiritual Laws of Success, Why Men Love Bitches . . . and, I am always sucking to get the good ol celebrity gossip magazines.

Heroes:

My parents for thier love, wisdom and support and for the way they view the world and put all of the "important" things into perspective. I have always been a follower but would rather do-ers.
