Lemonia is an artist who composes her own music. Her songs are about important events and feelings in her life. She expresses what is important to her through her music. "I always think of songs spontaneously. I sometimes dream of certain songs, then i wake up and have to write them down immediately.“ She has been playing the piano for 17 years now and had classical piano lessons for 8 years. "I use my piano to first express my inspiration", says Lemonia. At age 13 she recorded her music in a professional studio for the first time. Being on a magazine cover (Popstars, more than 100.000 copies in Germany) with 16 Lemonia started to get in touch with more and more interesting musicians. She started singing in bands for a couple of years and gained a lot of experience being on stage. She’s been collaborating with many producers and artists all over the world just like Jubeko Records, Kobra, Djorkaeff, F.R., Snaga & Pillath, Rec.On Entertainment, Smexer, Booya Records, Dieter Bohlen, Peter Goeke, Epik (Aftermath), Focus (Aftermath), B Real (Cypress Hill), Isy B, Ruger the Don, Cutheta, DJ Tommek and others. Lemonia writes her songs in English, German and Spanish. Her music is a mix of Pop, R’n’B, Hip Hop and Soul but she’s always open for new styles and influences. In summer 2006 at the age of 22 Lemonia had to face the devastating diagnose of cancer. After one year of fighting cancer successfully she now is back again and concentrates on new projects with fresh energy. "After all I've been through, I definitely can say that music was one of the most important issues which saved my life. Music gave me hope, strength and new power." By recording in several studios Lemonia even learned how to arrange tracks and now is also responsible for production and functions as a co-writer for other artists.
