What about us?Well, we have been together for just about a decade now. The ups and downs of a long term relationship like that is that it is a rewarding and trying learning experience. When we say that we would go to the ends of the Earth for each other, we mean it pretty literally. We met in Dunedin, Florida at a gas station of all places. We always mark the day that we met as the day Princess Diana died, having received word of her death while hanging out getting to know each other. Within a month of being together we quit our jobs and took a Greyhound bus to his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland, meaning to relocate there. Let's just say it didn't go as planned and we were back in Florida within 3 weeks. Since that trip we have been back to Baltimore, out to California to my hometown of Sonora, back to Florida, and are now living it up in Baltimore once again. Our original relocation finally working for us! Our time together sure hasn't been uneventful, to say the least. We definitely made the most of our lives. We partied with the best of them and enjoyed every fucking minute of it. Even after we started adding to the dynamic duo, we still made it a once or twice a week affair. Now getting into middle age, we have reduced our soirées to a few choice bashes a year. Old age makes you settle down, no matter how hard you try. The dynamic duo added a few choice selections along the way as well. Kaitlyn Noel Hughes, better known as "Miss Kaity aka Drama Queen", joined us March 31st 2000. She came into the world weighing in at 6lbs 10oz in Dunedin, Florida. The birth center in which she was born was just a block up the street from the gas station we met at. "Miss Kaity" is currently in the first grade. George William Hughes III, named after his father and his father before him, decided to join the pack October 19th 2001. This one weighing in at a whopping 8lbs 8oz!!! Born in the same birth center and delivered by the same midwife as his sister. Also, he has begun Pre-K at the same school as "Miss Kaity". He's all boy and in no means ashamed to show it!!! Hell on two feet, this one! Bryanna Leigh Hughes, our baby and the sparkle in Daddy’s eye, completed the Fantastic Five June 30th 2004. She was born at home in Holiday, Florida. She weighed in at a mere 7lbs 15oz. With a headful of curls and a devious grin, this one will have you eating out of the palm of her hand. Be aware...these will be the ones you'll warn your children about!!! That pretty much sums us up. If you wanna know anything else, do be afraid to ask.....we might answer.
