A little bit about WARREN,
Warren has been a DJ, for over 15 years with a list of clubs spreading from the So. Cal. to Seattle. He has a unique blend of mixing styles leaves no area of music (except country) untouched. Warren is mostly known for his sets of House music that get fused with a touch of 80’s nostalgia, and slapped with the hard beats of Progressive Trance.
As the years of experience have grown so has his music broadness, in playing hip hop, old school and Rap. “I call it diversity, others call it selling out, I call it job securityâ€.
Vinyl or cd players? Technology isn’t a scary thing to Warren he’s adapted to whichever style that needed for the event. “Cd’s are only easier to carry you still have to know how to mix! Vinyl is just too heavy to carry a wide variety of music.â€
With spending some time in the Navy; Warren was opened up to a huge mix of people and cultural blends to practice on pleasing a crowd of different styles of people. Using this to his advantage has gotten him a reputation as being a versatile dj.
In Seattle is where Warren has spent the last 9 years playing for different clubs and even some of the local radio stations. He’s been rated as one of the top Dj’s by winning mix contest and placing 2nd in two other contest. He’s also been a on air mix show dj for Kiss 106.1Fm as well as a guest Dj for Kube 93.93 FM and Kansas City’s Mixx 93.3FM.
Warren is looking forward to his Dj career and hope’s that he never has to get a day job!!
