Da BlackHillbillies originated from Columbia S.C. (da met) in the neighborhood better known as College Place. (C.P.)... We got our band name from simply analyzing our everyday life. We from da SOUTH, and we do Southern thangs. It's as simple as that. We are Hillbillies but, not the stereotypical Hillbillies... We are black, thus Da BlackHillbillies!!! It's not a racist thang, but felt the name was appropriate for who we are. So check us out, we are sure to have music that can touch everyone, no matter what their ethnic background may be. We love all life, therefore we put all aspects of life and situations into our music. Remember it's "HOTSAUCE ON WHAAAT?! EVERYTHAAANG!
