About Me

About me...well I am Dan. I am known to most as Curran, or just Dan. Lets see, well I can say that I am a drummer. I get a good fibe from playing on my drum kit, and watching my favourite drummers play, though I'm after my DW kit, until then, I can only fantasise about it. I'm in a band too, got asked by Adam Pluse to play for him as he was in need of a full-time drummer, I gladly accepted and it's going absolutely great!
What else, well I do my own art work in my time, I enjoy it when I do it, though never seem to have the passion to do as much as I really should. Apart from that, I can't say I do much with myself, apart from the usual routine, nothing much happens, I am the average sort of guy, always have a smile on my face, talk to anyone about anything, that's just who I am.

My Interests

My interests span over many things, my biggest interest probably being motorsport, loved it since the earliest times in my life that I can remember...so about 4yrs old. Anyone of my friends will know that I have a big passion for it and if I could, would get into racing myself.
Other interests span over music, which I love also. Another thing I probably couldn't live without, playing the drums is what I love, and someday, may even perform on stage...that's what I aim for.
Well apart from those main interests, the only other things are watching films and watching sports. I watch the American Football and also the Ice Hockey, always exciting. Films...now I'll watch mostly any kind of film, and I mean any, my film collection is growing every week pretty much. That's about it really...read on for more about me.

I'd like to meet:

Well if you mean rockstars or motor racing drivers, well I'd like to meet Tim McIlrath from Rise Against. There are a lot of drummers I would like to meet, I've met Keith Carlock though, real nice guy. Who else, well probably Benny Greb, blown away by his drumming. Really all those people that I look upto I would like to meet.But apart from that, I'll meet anyone, I'm always up for meeting new faces, aslong as you can deal with me, which doesn't take much but I have my odd crazy moments, like everyone I suppose.View All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment

Music:

I will listen to mostly anything, not Dance or R&B though, not what I call music, but someone always has the radio turned on to a crappy station playing it so I suppose when my iPod is plugged in, or when I've got my hi-fi on is when I listen to what I call music. When I say I listen to anything, I really do, it spans from the rock and alternative to jazz and even classical in some cases. I say I'll watch anything and that's pretty much true. I don't watch much tele through the week, it's only the weekend where it all kicks off for me.
