About Me

What I have done on here is basically do spur of them moment, ad lib ("Freestyle") music. I hope to at least render sounds, and feelings of music. I have much more music that I have not recorded. I have written songs that are mostly unfinished. I start a lot of projects and rarely finish them. Anyway, I'm all over the place. I like variety. Most of the popular music, I try not to play. That is why I don't listen much to the radio. I do own a couple of radios. I do not want to be influenced too heavy in directions that will make me more unoriginal. I've listened to almost every Prince album put out. I no longer have every album. There was a time when I put all my CD's in the fire. I go through fazes. My first album was a Billy Joel album. My mother made me take it back. She was wondering where I would get the money. I saved my lunch money and bought it. I was about 11 years old. First started to learn how to sing by listening to Michael Jackson albums. My step-brother (Lawrence) and I would go next door and borrow from a Sgt. that knew our parents was strict. My step-father was a preacher and soldier. So, there wasn't much variety. So, I would listen to radio and tapes and 8 Tracks. Heard Funkadelic/Parliament, Chaka Khan, um...The Police, Devo, B-52's, Billy Idol, Prince, Culture Club, Rick James, and countless other's that inspire music. More above that, I trust that G_D is the overall inspiration in you. I like Jazz a lot as well as Soul with Funk, and Rock rhythms. I would say that I am experimentalist. I'm always looking to improve. I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I know with a little help from my friends, I can make it through.

Influences: Prince (owah!). Yeah. For a time all I ever bought was Prince. Was doing the Culture Club thing until my mom found the albums I had hidden and threw them out. Billy Joel. I think the name of the album was something about "Songs In The Attic" (I'm not sure). It had some great songs that I would love to sing to when no one else was home. Love mostly a lot of classic rock. Soul music/R&B (not rapping bull shit), I do like some rap, though. Like some rap but am not particularly enthused at gangsta stuff. I'm more of a De La Soul type of guy. Jimi Hendrix!!!! I cannot say that he was the greatest guitar player, but what he did with a guitar, was just very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very great. Paul McCartney (my favorite Beetle). I like his voice. Lyric ability, and play ability at Bass guitar. Led Zepplin. Just very awesome musicians getting together to make memorable experiences. So many people to name. I like a wider variety of music than what I've listed, but can't seem to refresh my memory on it all.
Sounds Like: Himself. I mean, me versus me, myself and I. Not trying to be unmodest. Just me.
Record Label: Plan on doing my own label.
Type of Label: Indie
