About Me

My names Rob I've never been a real big myspace fan but with some encouragement from a unnamed friend and requests for me to make my profile more colorful I thought what the hell i'll finish filling it out and try to be more "active" with it, even though I will never fully like the whole myspace thing. I've had a mohawk for the past 11 years now since I was 12 and I've been cutting my own hair for the past 8 years. So i'm for real, thats longer then most people have had the hair style they have now. For about a year or two I just had the top part for a while because I messed up cutting the back when I was in a hurry and just buzzed it off, but for the most part its been 11 years know. I go to a lot of hardcore and punk rock shows it never gets old for me. I still ride my bike and mess around building kustom bikes long after most of my friends stopped riding there bikes and yup you guessed it I still skateboard.... so "skate that shit asshole" even though I don 't get to as much as I'd like to i'm still a "bastard on wheels" and still skate because its still all fun to me and its one thing in life thats has no guidelines and you have your own freedom when your riding. I've been working on, building, and refurbishing cars since I was 16 a little later then most people but its not stopping me. Yeah I like muscle cars actually I like them a lot but I don't like the whole muscle car crowd and goons and retards that go with it, you know who you are no need to point those people out or get excited with there ugly two tone fancy paint jobs, oversized rims, digital interior gauge lights and whatever else Hot Rod magazine is popularizing. I like muscle cars that are keep stock in appearance, with stock interiors like you could of bought them in the 70's anything else is a new car with a old body. However more then musles cars I like tridional hot rods, and the tridional 1950's kustoms and kustomizing that gos with it, Ratrods, Beaters, and Ja lopys and Road Warriors. I like the scean that gos with it and the people more because the owners actually work on there cars themselfs and know how to do there own work, just look at some of there cars ......or mine and im proud to be one of them dam redheaded step child hooligans. I'm not a real big fan at all of the streetroded cars "streetrods" with there Fiberglass bodies, billet aluminum, crome, and 350 crate engine and turbo 350 trans..engine combos. You know what you see on tv those aren't old cars anyway. I'm also a Welder..Fabricator which gos along with building cars, some of the welding and fabricating I've done in the past and at vo-tech was make those creative candle holders that hang on walls in kitchens, I've made metal fences for around houses and in gardens and around some cemetery's with the spades, fleur-de-lys, iron crosses, arrow points and sharpened edges on the top of the them and also metal doors and gates like that, I've done frankinstine project s at work like bringing old race cars that once raced at the Reading Fairgrounds back from the dead and making them sold and drive able again by cutting and torching out rusted out and weak spots in the chassis and roll cages and welding in those spots with pipe sections or frame lengths whatever was there when it was built, I've done and do rust repairs like replacing quarter panels or swiss cheesed floors in cars and trucks I pretty much do anything metal work wise. Also im big into the 40's - 50's era and always have been. I have a growing collection of vintage close that started after my grandfather passed away and I inherited alot of his older close and my interested in vintage close as grown from that point. I only where them out to picked events like the World War II weekend or Rockabilly events and also to hot rod shows. People ask me why I dont were them more often or tell me they never see me wearing them and thats because there vintage close that are actually over 50 years old..... and its hard to find close that old to beging with and then finding something I like thats in my size is the other part of it. If it wasn't for that i'd were them more often, but some people have a hard time understanding that. I also have a growing fascination for old furniture and signs or re-poped signs and furniture from the 40's - 50's and once and a while i'll buy old furniture and fix it up to new and sell it....not that ;I want to sell it its just I dont have anyplace to put some of the things and have to sell them. Many more things im interested in from the WWII -Post War - Rock-n-Roll decade would be the Pin-up Art from from nose art on bombers to pin-up pictures to the pin-up girls themselfs "imagine that". I use to draw pin-up girls back in high school and after I graduated and had a collection of somewhere around 25 original drawings but I don't have the time to sit down and draw anymore, and before I typed this not very m any people knew that because I didn't really like perverts asking me to see my pictures that I drew. Also im into the music from the era like the big band music and the swing dancers and dances and also the rock-n-roll music and the mentality that the world was going to come to a end because of the good ole' rock and roll music.
