About Me

Rather than write a bunch of flattering crap about myself, I am going to expose more than you wanted to know about me and my secret kwirks.I once peeled off my skin from a pretty bad sunburn and kept it in a jar for a while. I got one of those little aquatic frogs that they were selling a like freakin' Target, and I put him in the window thinking he could look outside and when I came home that night I found that I had cooked the poor guy. I like to smell my own armpits. I love a man armpit.. something about getting up in a stinky man pit. Sometimes when I pick my nose, I fling my boogars on the wall and I get a sense of pride when I visit a place my boogars have landed and they are still chillin'.

My Interests

mint chip icecream.... kissing nice soft lips... the duckbill platapus... maps... sleeping... eating... the exhilarating feeling of a cold shot of water after a nice hot shower... the ocean and all things aquatic... the human body and how well it is engineered.... swinging (on swings not the lifestyle)... films... talking all day with someone fierce (heard someone use fierce in a conversation last night and just had to add it to my vocabulary)... skinny dipping... the space elevator... photography and photographs... long hikes... knitting... baking....

I'd like to meet:

Mario Van Peebles.... naw... I just like saying his name. Any or all of the Marx Brothers (Harpo in particular). ..

Music:

presently rockin' out to....Grace Jones (Warm Leatherette) Public Enemy (Takes a Nation of Millions) Sly and the Family Stone (downloaded mix) Siouxsie and the Banshees(disc 2 of best of) Nine Inch Nails (Pretty Hate Machine) Boomtown Rats (Fine Art of Surfacing) Bob Dylan (Bringing it all Back Home) John and Yoko (The Ballad of John and Yoko)... Feeling a bit insulted by all the lies being selected in all things media and a bit sad about the ingorance of Americas right now. A little peace, love, revolution and kicking ass perks me right up.

Movies:

I love cinema..... I get off on all aspects of movies. I love DVD's now with all the director commentaries and deleted scenes and the how they did it parts... anyhoooo... my list is very long. I will only list some of the all time favs.....Blade Runner (beautiful movie)- City of God- Wierd Science- Rope (any Hitchcock actually, but this is my most fav)- Easy Money- Pee-wee's Big Adventure- Birdie- Casino Royal- Pecker- Best in Show- Cry Baby- Raising Arizona- Lord of the Rings (I really enjoyed all of them)- Jaws- Close Encounters- I am going to stop there....Hedwig and the Angry Inch! How could I forget Hedwig?

Television:

I love CSI.... I don't watch TV though so I have to buy the DVD's.

Books:

My book of the week is Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.-Enders Game- Postman- Weave World- Mists of Avalon- Geek Love- Red Dragon- Any David Sedaris- Bunny Bunny-My all time favorite literature is Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. They were my first books so they were read and read and read and live in my mind.

Heroes:

My parents and their parents. Salmon after a long journey against the flow. Mothers. Teachers. Artists. Ben and Jerry for their pints of heaven. The Amish. Decent people that value kindness and triumphs.
