Oi Kontrol Oi

La banda empieza en el 2003 con Gera en bajo, Sergio en guitarra, y Luis en la pila. En ese tiempo el nombre de la banda era Freak Nail. Despues de algunas tocadas, Gabriel Diarrhea (ex-integrante de Verbal Diarrhea de San Diego) entro como vocalista. Despues de eso fue que decidieron cambiarle el nombre a Oi Kontrol Oi. Despues de algunos tokines y grabar un demo, Luis se sale de la banda y fue remplazado por Mikee (vocalista de Los Chafas). Con esta alineacion tocaron en lugares como el Taller Bache, y el Hard Rock cafe entre otras. A finales del 2004 decidieron meter un segundo guitarrista asi que pusieron un anuncio en su website que fue contestado por Jorge (alias- CoRoNeRo). Despues de algunas practicas volvieron a tocar en lugares como el Bache, El Oxigeno House, el Foro, y el salon SOS, y muchas tocadas caseras. En el 2005 fueron a Rosarito a grabar con Hector (baterista de Agente Calavera, Low Morale, y mas). A principios del 2006 Mikee decide retirarse de la banda (todos lloramos) y Gera se cambio a bateria, Sergio a bajo, y un nuevo integrante fue agregado a la alineacion. Este nuevo integrante fue Julio (guitarrista de Revolver 120). Ademas de tener mercancia disponible en las tocadas pronto tendran un disco completo titulado "This is what we live."------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------- The band started around 2003~2004 with Gera on bass, Sergio on guitar, and Luis on drums. At that time the name of the band was Freak Nail. After a few shows, Gabriel Diarrhea (ex member of Verbal Diarrhea from SD) was made vocalist. From here the name of the band was change to Oi Kontrol Oi. After a few more shows and the recording of the demo Luis left the band and was replaced by Mikee (vocalist for Los Chafas). With this lineup they played at such places as Taller Bache, and Hard Rock Cafe. During late 2004 the band was in need for a 2nd guitarist so they put an add on their website which was answered by Jorge (a.k.a. CoRoNeRo). After a few practices together they once again played a few times at the Taller Bache, and finished recording their 1st full length album which is due to come out sometime in 2006. At the beginning of 2006 Mikee decided it was time for him to leave the band (we all cried) and Gera moved to the drums, Sergio to bass, and a new person was brought in on second guitar. This was Julio (guitarist for revolver 120). Today Oi Kontrol Oi are fucking shit up in TJ and other cities near by!
